La.venue hosted a sold-out tech startup job fair on Tuesday. The Alley Boost Startup Expo was one of two job fairs seeking top tech talent yesterday, highlighting the increasing demand for such jobs in New York.
A hot list of about 60 startups, including Uber, PivotDesk, TechCrunch Dirup and Fiverr, were slated to recruit at the event, and about 4,000 attendees competed for positions. Tickets for the event had already sold out the day before.
The event took place at La.venue’s event space on West 28th Street. We’re encouraged to see one of the fastest-growing job sectors in the city seek out Hudson Yards as its stage.
