Hudson Yards, meet your new neighbor.
On Friday, the first images of Manhattan West were unveiled. The $4.5 billion mixed-use development will sit right next to Hudson Yards, between 32nd and 33rd Streets and Ninth and Tenth Avenues.
Developed by Brookfield Properties, Manhattan West will include two new office buildings, as well as one residential building. Overall, the development will boast five million square feet of space.
According to TheUrbanDeveloper.com, the “two glass office towers each feature one angled façade and rounded corners. The tallest of the two, 1 Manhattan West, will reach 67 stories. The first office tower is expected to be completed in 2019.”
The new buildings were designed by the firm of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.
