Police are searching for a man who repeatedly stole high-end liquor from a Hell’s Kitchen bar. The man broke into the bar three times in four days and stole over $4,500 of expensive alcohol, DNAinfo reports.
The man’s first foray into White Oak Oyster Bar & Cocktail Lounge was Friday, Nov. 27 at 4:37 a.m.. He forced through a side door to the building, then pried open the liquor closet with a crowbar. He left with 100 bottles of alcohol worth $4,000, DNAinfo says.
The robbery was reported to the police, but two days later at 10:47 a.m., the man entered the bar by the side door again. He failed to steal anything on this attempt.
The next day, he returned. On Monday, Nov. 30, at approximately 5 a.m., he entered through side door and stole 12 bottles of rum worth $528.
The NYPD released security camera footage of the unsuccessful second entry.
